Urbee is a project by
sustainability and a collective game,

an experience that allows you to rediscover nature

and the importance of protecting it.

We are the first urban beekeeping project in Naples.

Three hives, 180,000 bees to adopt, an urban garden and many other new features on the way.

​

Urbee's story is simple

and starts from chef Giuseppe Iannotti,

patron of Krèsios**.

In 2022, Intesa Sanpaolo entrusts management to Giuseppe

of three outlets in the historic Palazzo Piacentini:

a bistro, the Luminist;

a cocktail bar, Anthill;

a fine dining  177 Toledo

on whose terrace he decided to install some hives.

Urbee is a game and like every game it has rules:

1: each hive has the name of a historic neighborhood

of Naples: Forcella, Pignasecca, Sanità.

2: each hive has a queen: Titina, Pupella, Sophia;

each hive also has a drone: Diego, Totò, Massimo.

3: every bee is adoptable.

You can choose whether:

- adopt a bee and receive an adoption certificate.

- adopt a small swarm of bees.

- adopt one of the three queens or one of the three drones, come to visit us, receive honey, and much more (...).
